Carbon capture, use and storage (Carbone Capture, Utilization and Storage) are some of the viable solutions to reduce the atmospheric concentration of anthropogenic CO2 emissions.

The CO₂ES Industrial Chair, laureate of the Seniors Chairs calls of E2S UPPA and directed by Fabrizio Croccolo, aims at improving our understanding of the various CO2 capture mechanisms in geological reservoirs

The 1st workshop organized within the framework of the CO₂ES Chair brings together European experimenters, numerical scientists and industrial partners to share ideas on the storage by convective dissolution of CO2 in deep saline aquifers.
