  • Damage and fracture of cementitious and porous materials
  • Failure analysis and strain localisation, nonlocal modelling, discrete models and size effect
  • Durability mechanics of concrete structures (experimental & computational)
  • Coupled problems in geomechanics (thermo-hydro-mechanics, hydraulic fracturing)

29 Ph.D. supervised (1991 – 2016), 12 are assistant or full professors, 8 are research engineers, (CEA, LCPC, CNRS, EDF, Lafarge), 1 post-doc, the other hold positions in the industry.
